Horses. Only more.
After a lifetime with horses, I want more.
More moments where I am amazed.
More moments where I am inspired.
More moments where I am awed.
More moments where I am smiling. No, beaming with happiness.

These moments for me don't happen in the showring anymore.
Often it isn't even me who is on a horse.
Teaching is an incredible experience.
And it isn't true that if you can ride, you can teach.
It is a skill, like anything else, and requires knowledge and practice.
I am seeking a handful of riders to teach,
and instructors to train.
I have been riding for over forty years.
I have taught over five hundred students,
from casual riders to A level competitors.
I have trained more than 200 horses.
I have ridden saddleseat, western pleasure,
hunter over fences, Jumpers, and eventing.
I have rooms full of ribbons,
plus thousands of ribbons won by my students
I had success at every level of riding,
but now I just want to work with those who really want to learn.
With horses, everything matters.
How he lives, what he eats, what he wears,
how he spends his time off.
Also what else you do to help him be his best.
I have tried it all, at least once
and I have made every mistake there is to make
and I like to think I have learned from it!
So if you are a rider who wants a genuine relationship with the horse
and you don't want pressure to compete
but you want to seek success in your riding....
Or if you want a career with horses but you need an edge,
or you want to know more about your options for a career with horses,
or you want to take your teaching to the next level...
We do eventing, because it's badass.
But my instruction, whether for riders or instructors,
can be helpful no matter your style
because solid riding is solid riding.
I prefer not to teach beginners anymore
because my horses are older and have done their time.
And so have I.
Similarly, I don't social media
nor will I spend a lot of time on a web presence.
But I do text!
And I am really, really good at my job.
